Birmingham Airport 's operations are split on both sides of the field. The terminal side handles all scheduled and charter operations. British Airways and Maersk Air operate from the Eurohub whilst all other carriers operate from the Main Terminal. Passenger figures are increasing at a fast rate, in 2003/4 increased by 11.5% to 9.2 million. During August 2004, the Airport handled more than one million passengers in a single month for the first time in its history. Birmingham International Airport, is simple to get to, being served by a range of intercity, regional and local rail services.
